楽坊帝国英雄列伝　宰相・海榴国母廖彬曲　by 朝霧

楽坊帝国では当初宰相職は置かれないはずだった、しかし、大軍師楊松梅の強い要望により外廷の最高位として設置されることとなった、皇帝権に頡頏する宰相権を確立して法治を徹底させるために。
その強大な権限を持つ宰相に誰が任命されるのか、議論を待つまでもなく太祖の考えも衆論も一致していた、「廖彬曲」、彼女を於いて他に人は無し。
廖彬曲は文の人である。
太祖の三脚鼎の一人として志を同じくし、共に苦難の道を歩んできた、戦場にあって剣を振るい矢を放つことはなく、帷幄の中において必勝の策を巡らすことも無かったけれど、廖彬曲にしかできない役割を彼女は完璧に遣り遂げた。
蒋瑾、詹麗君、レイ・インの三王将軍が臨機応変に戦えるのも、楊松梅、馬菁菁の両軍師が深慮遠謀の戦略を立てられるのも、後方の廖彬曲が糧道を確保し補給を万全に整えているからであり、子や夫を兵として送り出した家族を慰め生活を守ってきたからである。
西漢の簫何たらんと自らを奮い立たせる廖彬曲、国を憂い民を思って痩躯を削り、赤心さえ病むほどに経世救民に取り組んできた、いや戦ってきたというべきか。
「殿上に聞こえてくる声だけが人々の思いじゃない、市井に渦巻く声なき声にこそ切なる願いがある。」
廖彬曲は声なき声を聞く努力を終生怠らなかった、まさに“鞠躬尽力、死して後已まん”の人生である。激務に次ぐ激務にたびたび体調を崩す廖彬曲、見かねた太祖が諭すようにいう、
「朝堂に廖彬曲の姿がある、それだけで人々は喜び安心して暮らせるのだ、自愛せよ。」
廖彬曲は自分自身が人々から求められているなど、夢にも思わなかった、ただ彼女は自分の立てた誓いを精一杯守り通してきただけだった。
政治だけでなく笛の名手としても歴史に名を残す廖彬曲。
嘗ては夷狄蛮戎と蔑視しされた人たちの音楽にも親しみを持ち積極的に学び、競い、そして一つの新しい文化を生み出した。
楽器の形はもとより言葉や風俗も違う、それでもその合奏は聴衆を魅了せずには置かない。
廖彬曲は思う、誰もが皆自分の中に自分だけの音楽を持っていて、自身に流れる音楽を外に解き放つ手段の一つが楽器を奏でることなのだろう。そして聞く人の中にある音楽と共鳴したとき表現を越えた感動があるのだ。
廖彬曲に問う人有り
「楊松梅殿をして自分の音楽がわからなかったのですか」
廖彬曲答えて曰く。
「彼を知り、己を知る、それ故必勝不敗の戦略有り」
廖彬曲の邸宅にはたくさんの椿が植えられている、故郷に咲く椿をこの都でも見たいと願い移したのが最初である。厳しい寒さの中でも華麗に咲く椿はただ美しいだけでなく、その実から取れる油は、夜の闇を照らす明かりとなり、火傷を治し、衣服を染め、女性の髪を美しく整えました。廖彬曲が市中の子らに椿国母（海榴国母）と呼ばれる所以である。
